Where the wind up mechanism was installed there is some breakage (see picture) and the mechanism rattles around in the cat. However, strangely enough he does work tho all he does is giggle around. He is marked 'MADE IN JAPAN' on the back of his neck. There is a bit of black rubbed off on the left side of his mouth. (see picture) He is four inches tall from tip of ear to foot. Wind up Halloween celluloid are rare so he is really quite a good pc.Our clever Puss in Boots quickly walks around swinging his red bag. This tricker cat wears a red hat, plaid suit, tie, and large boots just like in the original French Fairy Tale. Wind up Puss in Boots and he will scurry around with happy abandon. A very unique tin toy for your collection.
