Cat Rescue Connection is a small rescue group in the San Francisco/Sacramento area of northern California. Our cats and kittens are pulled from high-kill shelters, are strays found living on the streets, or are feral kittens who have been taken in and socialized for adoption.
Founded in 1993, Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary is an animal rescue group dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of homeless and abused animals throughout the Sacramento area.
Our Mission Statement...
Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our purpose is to aid stray, abandoned, and neglected animals. In addition to animals rescued and adopted by our organization, SIAR is also dedicated to help other independent animal rescuers find their foster animals the loving homes they deserve. To date, over 1100 dogs and cats have been rescued and placed into wonderful homes in the past few years. In order to provide these services, we work with the community shelters, rescue organizations, and individuals who have animals with special needs and place these animals in permanent homes after they reach a stage of wellness. SAKrescue is a not-for profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, sterilization and rehabilitation of orphaned and abandoned kittens, cats and the subsequent placements of these animals into safe, permanent homes. We also provide ongoing education to the community regarding such matters to help reduce the impact of pet overpopulation in the Sacramento Area.
