Introducing the Royal Canin Feline Hairball Care 4KG Dry Cat Food. Cats spend 30% of their time grooming, with up to two thirds of hair they shed being swallowed during grooming sessions. This can lead to hairballs in the digestive tract. Royal Canin Hairball Care is formulated with an exclusive blend of fibres including psyllium (rich in mucilage) and insoluble fibres. This means hair swallowed can be eliminated naturally instead of collecting in the stomach and being regurgitated. Formulated with a balance of minerals to help maintain the health of urinary tract of an adult cat. We had one cat who had a urinary blockage and the vet suggested we start feeding him Royal Canin S/O wet and dry. We were told that it would be fine for both cats. The first case of wet food was fine but the second had a different consistency, almost as if they changed their processing. After being on the food for just over a month, our second cat became extremely ill, constipated and throwing up. We took him back to the vet and both attending vets inquired to any recent changes in diet, acknowledging that such a change could be the cause of his potentially deadly issue. He was so backed up that sedation was required to help clear him out. Needless to say the poor thing has never really recovered. My elderly cat was diagnosed with renal issues during a recent wellness visit. The vet recommended Royal Canin Renal Support, and I bought a kit with several different flavors of wet and a small bag of dry food. Within 12 hours of the first meal my cat started puking and pooping all over. The poop was green and extremely smelly. Poor kitty was sick all night. By morning she was clearly uncomfortable but at least drinking water. I threw away all remaining food including unopened cans so no one else's cat suffers like this from this food. 12 hours later back on her old food she's eating well, drinking water and while still a bit fragile. She is much better, no puke or poop all over. After reading other reviews I am convinced that I made a bad decision by trying this food and I'm posting to warn others. Photos of the bag with numbers are attached. If negative stars were allowed this food would get a Negative 10! My male cat has crystals in his urine so the associate vet recommended I try a small bag of the dry cat food to balance him out and help prevent him from having this issue. I wasn't sure how he was going to take it so I mixed it with his other food and only gave it to him over two meals. His sister, who never really enjoys her food but eats, kept trying to steal his Royal Canin. I thought it was cute because she's never that interested in food so I let her try some.Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Cat Food is: Made with wholesome ingredients Formulate for cats with feline urinary tract diease Prevents bladder stones Increases urine volume Maintains a healthy weight Gummy and chewy Cleans teeth and gums Fortified with vitamins,…
