Mother & Babycat dry cat food | Royal Canin Professional
I have a 1 year old cat that I rescued from an animal shelter. She had been seizued from a hoarding situation. She will not eat larger sized kibble pieces, so I had to find something that she would eat. When I adopted her she had upper respiratory problems and was very sickly from living in miserable conditions before the shelter rescued her. I tried many other cat foods before Royal Canin. She would vomit all of them up. Royal Canin Babycat 34 is the only food I've found that she can actually keep down, likes to eat, and is helping her get better. Macy is improving daily and loves her food. This food has literally saved her life. So far she eats only 1/4 cup daily, but just getting her to eat that much is a big success. I'm going to continue to increase her food (she is really skinny) and hopefully be able to switch her to Kitten 36 or an adult formula in the near future. Right now I'm just happy that she is eating and being taken care of. I thank the shelter for saving her life once, but I thank Royal Canin for saving her life a second time!

Another thoughtful innovation from Royal Canin, BabyCat Instinctive is a transitional food with a unique mousse consistency. It is ideal for transitioning kittens from milk to solid food. When I can't get kittens to eat another variety of kitten food, I turn to Royal Canin Babycat. It is more expensive than most other kitten dry kibble, but worth it. The kibble is small and kitten sized.I am a veterinary Technician who is a huge fan of Royal Canin. I have fostered and hand raised many kittens and I can assure you the Baby Cat formula will have kittens eating solid food faster than any other product out there. The peices of food are tiny so they are easy for a kitten to pick up and chew. Plus they love the taste and the nutritional value is outstanding. We have always highly recommended this product to kitten owners.Another thoughtful innovation from Royal Canin, BabyCat Instinctive is a transitional food with a unique mousse consistency. It is ideal for transitioning kittens from milk to solid food. When I first started volunteering for a cat rescue organization, I asked the coordinator what kind of food was best for the kittens. She immediately told me to get Royal Canin Babycat. Since she had over 20 years' experience rescuing literally hundreds of cats, I took her word for it. Simply put, it is one of the best foods out there for kittens. They love it, and it keeps them healthy. I'm not wealthy and it does cost a little more, but it is worth it -- vet bills for unhealthy animals are much more expensive!I adopted my baby kitty from a rescue organization at two months of age. The lady with the rescue organization recommended the Royal Canin Babycat Dry Food because of the tiny little pieces. She also said that it is very high in fat, which kittens need at such a young age. She loves this cat food and has been growing into a really healthy cat. My kitten did have a bit of gas when transitioning from liquid/soft food to the dry food, but that was part of the weaning process and to be expected I think. Her coat is very shiny, her poops are mild and solid, and she doesn't have any kitty gas. She is super energetic and seems very healthy. The best part is that her breath is not stinky at all! She's almost four months now and we're ready to move to the kitten 36 formula. The only issue with this food is that it is quite pricey. You can buy it in up to fifteen pound bags, though, and it is cheaper per unit than buying the smaller bags.
