Mini Educator ET-300-A Remote Training Collar 1-dog
This feature is especially useful when training multiple dogs from one remote. Dogs are like people and have different thresholds of sensitivity and typically will need different levels of static stimulation. With other brands, a user has to remember all the dogs’ levels, and must take their eyes off the dogs to look at the remote, adjust the level, apply the correction, toggle to the next dog and then repeat this process for the each dog. This can get confusing, especially in an emergency situation where the user must act quickly, it’s easy to make a mistake and over- or under-stimulate the dog. With an Educator e-collar, you have separate buttons that you can preset using the Lock & Set features so you need never need to take your eyes off your dogs or remember each dog's settings.
The Easy Educator EZ-902 is designed to be both safe and effective for training small, more sensitive dogs as small as 5 lbs., yet versatile enough to train larger breeds or dogs with more stubborn temperaments as well. Adjustable vibration and various modes of stimulation make this e-collar an excellent solution for dogs with hearing impairments since you can lock the static stimulation level to “0” using the patent pending “lock and set” safety feature to convert the EZ-902 into a vibration only collar- train your small sensitive dog with vibration only and the larger more stubborn dog with static.
The Educator's COS ("Control of Stimulation") technology provides very clean stimulation without the normal head jerking found with some other training collars. The ability to set the boost level from 1 to 60 lets you tailor the boost stimulation to your dog's temperament. Smaller dogs typically need 1 to 20 while bigger more stubborn dogs use the 20 to 60 boost range. The "Tapping Sensation" is similar to vibration, but is more intense, making it a good non-stimulation alternative. The ergonomic stop watch style transmitter is designed to be easy to use, letting you watch your dog instead of your transmitter. The night tracking light is remotely controlled by the transmitter and can be set to either flash or remain lit continuously. If you lose or misplace your transmitter, the Lost Transmitter Beeper can help you find it. The transmitter even floats, so you don't have to worry if you drop it in the lake! As you can see from the customer reviews, this little Educator ET-300 Mini has nothing less than 5-star reviews and for good reason. Everyday I recommend this training collar to companion pet owners because it is simply the best entry-level training collar for the price and can be used for about 90% of the circumstances customers describe for their desired training goals.
The design of this unit is excellent. The receiver-collar is one of the smallest money can buy (2.0” x 1.5" x 1.1”, 2.4 ounces) and will work for dogs as small as 5lbs. Along with its vibration only mode (Tapping Sensation), it has 100 levels of static stimulation that gives the user a wide range of correction levels allowing you to turn it down so low that's its gentle enough for small dogs but has enough kick for larger dogs as well.
At first glance this new, rounded style remote looks a bit awkward, but nothing could be further from the truth. Its ergonomic, user-friendly, stop watch style design fits perfectly in your hand with its buttons right at your fingertips. The Good Dog’s step-by-step guide to using the E-Collar Technologies Mini Educator 300.
